Meet Garo & Marie – The Heart of DJ Garo
We’re Garo and Marie, the husband-and-wife team behind DJ Garo, a family owned and operated entertainment business. Originally from Maryland, we made the move to Mansfield, Texas, in 2022—and we’ve never looked back! We absolutely love everything Texas has to offer and often find ourselves wishing we had made the move sooner.
Our story began in 2016, and in May 2024, we tied the knot right here in Texas! Beyond our passion for entertainment, we’re both animal lovers—we share our home with a lovable Saint Bernard named Gus, a playful orange tabby dubbed Henry the Orange, and recently rescued kitten Pooky. We’re also avid foodies, always exploring the amazing culinary scene Texas has to offer.
A Perfect Blend of Talent & Passion
Marie is a professional graphic designer with a keen eye for photography and a love for gardening. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Maryland and brings her creative expertise to our business.
Garo started his career as an automotive technician and has worked for several Fortune 100 companies. With a natural curiosity for how things work, he’s always had a knack for problem solving and critical thinking. His love for music began at a young age, learning multiple instruments and creating mix CDs for friends before discovering DJing in high school. By the early 2010s, he was spinning at clubs in Washington, D.C., but eventually shifted his focus to weddings and private events, where he truly found his calling. In early 2026, Garo left his corporate career to pursue DJing full-time, teaming up with his wife Marie to build Starscape Entertainment.
Today, Garo and Marie work together as a husband-and-wife team, combining Garo’s high energy and technical precision with Marie’s creative design and photography skills to create unforgettable celebrations across the DFW area.

Marie’s involvement naturally grew from assisting with setup and capturing moments behind the scenes to investing in a photo booth to elevate our clients’ experiences. Together, we offer a one stop shop for entertainment, photography, and memorabilia, ensuring your event is unforgettable.

DJ Eli, Marie, and photographer Brayden
DJ Eli is our trusted lead associate DJ and a key member of the Starscape team. A talented musician who plays electric guitar and sings in a local band, Eli was personally trained by DJ Garo and brings both technical skill and high energy to every event. With a calm, professional presence, he’s the go-to for corporate events and weddings when we run multiple setups.
Brayden is our talented event photographer who captures the candid, emotional, and joyful moments of your day. His eye for detail and relaxed style help create beautiful memories you’ll cherish forever.
DJ Gus Gus & Scratch Master Henry
No event is complete without our two fury professionals supervising from the sidelines.
DJ Gus Gus (our big goof of a St. Bernard) is the official head of security and vibe curator. With his big personality and even bigger headphones, he makes sure the dance floor stays energetic and the vibes are always high.
Scratch Master Henry (the orange) is the true technical expert. He oversees setup, tests every cable with his paws, and provides critical supervision from the turntables.
Together, they bring the perfect balance of chaos, personality, and love to every event we do — making sure your day is unforgettable (and well supervised).
